Dr. Mahtab Khanezarrin
Veterinarian
Dr. Khanezarrin grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry from Georgia State University. While volunteering at her local humane society throughout college, she discovered a passion for helping animals that inspired her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She later moved to Phoenix, Arizona, to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Midwestern University.
During veterinary school, Dr. Khanezarrin participated in feline-focused research called Kitten Mittens, which examined thermoregulation in cats under anesthesia. Her professional interests include feline medicine, emergency and critical care, and surgery. She enjoys the problem-solving nature of veterinary medicine and loves working alongside a dedicated team to provide compassionate, high-quality care for pets and the people who love them.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Khanezarrin and her husband are happily outnumbered by their three affectionate cats—Sage, Rosemary, and Dilly Bob. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, getting lost in a good book, and traveling the world with her family and friends. She looks forward to getting to know clients and helping their pets live happy, healthy lives.
